Snickerdoodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 3/4 c. flour
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Mix butter, shortening, sugar and eggs.
    Blend in flour slowly with cream of tartar, baking soda and salt.
    Shape into medium size balls, then roll into mixture of 2 tablespoons sugar and 2 teaspoons cinnamon.
    Bake in oven at 400\u00b0 for at least 8 to 10 minutes.
    Makes about 6 dozen.
