Cabbage Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium head cabbage
    6 Tbsp. butter or magarine
    6 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    2 c. evaporated milk or milk
    3/4 lb. grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Cut cabbage into small pieces; place in a saucepan.
    Cover with water; cook 10 minutes.
    Drain.
    Make a white sauce from the butter, flour, salt, pepper and milk.
    Stir constantly until thickened.
    In a 10 x 10 x 2-inch casserole dish, layer the cabbage, sauce and cheese.
    Repeat twice; dot with butter.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
