Raspberry Oatmeal Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. yellow cake mix
    2 1/2 c. quick cooking oatmeal
    3/4 c. (1 1/2 sticks) margarine
    1 c. (12 oz. jar) raspberry preserves or fruit jam
    1 Tbsp. water
Preparation
    Combine cake mix and oatmeal; add melted butter and stir until crumbly.
    Measure about 1/2 of mixture into 9 x 13 x 2-inch greased pan.
    Press firmly to cover bottom.
    Combine preserves and water, mixing well.
    Spread over crumb mixture.
    Sprinkle remaining crumb mixture over preserves.
    Pat firmly to make top even.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 18 to 23 minutes or until top is very light brown.
    Cool in pan and cut into bars.
    Store in airtight container.
