Caramel Corn - cooking recipe

6 1/2 qt. popcorn
2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. white corn syrup
1 c. margarine
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Pop the popcorn.
Combine the brown sugar, corn syrup, margarine and salt.
Let boil for 5 minutes.
Remove from stove and add soda and vanilla; beat.
Pour over popcorn.
Microwave a total of 2 1/2 to 3 minutes.
Stir about every 1 minute.
