Delicious White Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. scalded milk
    6 Tbsp. honey
    1 Tbsp. salt
    6 Tbsp. butter
    1 c. cold water
    2 pkg. dry yeast
    12 c. flour
Preparation
    Scald milk. Add honey, salt and butter.
    Add cold water to cool mixture. When lukewarm, add yeast. Stir to dissolve.
    Add about 4 cups of flour. Stir with wire whisk until smooth. Gradually add 7 more cups of flour, mixing well. Turn out onto floured board with final 1 cup of flour and knead 10 minutes, using minimal extra flour.
    Let rise in a greased bowl, covered, until doubled in size (about 1 hour).
    Punch down. Shape into loaves.
    Place in greased bread pans.
    Let rise again about 45 minutes.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 30 minutes or until loaves sound hollow when tapped.
    Makes 4 large or 6 smaller loaves.
