Turtle Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box German chocolate cake mix
    3/4 c. melted butter
    1/2 c. Carnation milk
    1 pkg. caramels
    1/3 c. Carnation milk
    1 pkg. chocolate chips (semi-sweet)
    1 to 2 c. pecans
Preparation
    Mix cake mix, butter and 1/2 cup Carnation milk. Spread 1/2 to 3/4 of the batter in a 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake 8 to 12 minutes at 350\u00b0.
