Ingredients

1 baked pie shell
1 stick real butter, at room temperature
3/4 c. sugar
1 sq. Baker's unsweetened chocolate, melted and cooled
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
Preparation

Cream butter.
Add sugar; gradually add chocolate and vanilla. Add one egg at a time and beat for 3 minutes on high speed.
Pour into pie shell and chill for 3 or 4 hours.
Top with whipped cream and toasted, slivered almonds.
