Refrigerator Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. boiling water
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    2 cakes yeast
    1 tsp. sugar
    2 eggs
    8 c. flour
    1/4 c. lukewarm water
Preparation
    Mix boiling water, 1/2 cup sugar, salt and shortening.
    Cool to lukewarm.
    Soften yeast in lukewarm water with 1 teaspoon sugar.
    Add yeast to first mixture and then add beaten eggs.
    Stir in 4 cups flour and beat thoroughly.
    Stir in 4 more cups of flour.
    Do not knead!!
    May be kept for several days in the refrigerator if it is tightly covered.
    When ready to use, shape into rolls; stand in warm place until doubled in bulk.
