Monterey Artichoke Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (6 oz.) jars marinated artichoke hearts
    1 chopped onion
    1 garlic clove
    4 eggs, beaten
    1/4 c. fine bread crumbs
    2 c. grated Monterey Jack cheese
    1/4 tsp. salt
    pimiento strips (optional)
    1/4 tsp. crushed basil
    1/4 tsp. oregano
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    2 Tbsp. chopped green chilies
Preparation
    Drain artichoke hearts, reserving 1 tablespoon marinade in a saucepan.
    Add onion and garlic to marinade sauce.
    Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
    Grease an 8-inch baking pan.
    Finely chop artichoke hearts; set aside.
