Apple Crunch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large egg
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 1/4 tsp. baking powder
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    1/2 c. chopped apples
Preparation
    Beat whole egg with rotary beater until light.
    Gradually add sugar and beat smooth.
    Add sifted flour and baking powder, then apples, nuts and vanilla.
    Put in lightly greased pan and bake at 275\u00b0 for 35 minutes.
    Serve with ice cream or Cottage Pudding Sauce.
