Tomato Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (9-inch) deep dish pie shell, baked
3 green onions, chopped
1 c. mayonnaise
salt and pepper
basil
Parmesan cheese and bacon (optional)
3 firm tomatoes, thickly sliced
1 c. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
chives
Preparation

Fill the cooled pie shell with a layer of tomatoes and onions. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, basil and chives.
Layer again. Combine mayonnaise and Cheddar cheese; spread on top, sealing all edges.
(Optional:
May sprinkle top with crushed bacon and Parmesan.)
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
Makes 6 servings.
