Fat-Free Applesauce Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/4 c. raisins
3/4 c. boiling water
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
3 egg whites
2 c. thick applesauce
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. each: cinnamon, cloves and allspice
2 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. soda

Preparation

May use 3/4 cup of nuts if desired; of course, no longer fat free.
