Dot Neal'S Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. butter
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. self-rising flour
    1 c. cake flour
    6 eggs
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Measure flours before sifting.
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add flour and eggs, 1 at a time, slowly to mixture.
    Add a tablespoon of water to mix until ingredients are light and fluffy.
    Add vanilla.
    Flour and grease tube pan and line pan with paper, if you like, that is cut to fit the bottom.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 to 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes to an hour.
    Test with a toothpick.
