Peach Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 gal. sliced peaches
    2 c. water
    2 1/4 c. sugar (or sweetener to taste)
    1/4 stick butter
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/4 c. water
Preparation
    Add peaches to 2 cups water.
    Cook until peaches are tender. Add sugar and stir to dissolve sugar.
    Mix cornstarch and 1/4 cup water.
    Dip peaches out of juice and put in pan.
    Add cornstarch and water to juice.
    Cook until it begins to thicken. Pour over peaches and add butter.
