Springtime Rice Pilaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. rice
    2 c. chicken broth
    4 to 8 asparagus spears, cut in 1/2-inch pieces
    4 to 6 mushrooms, chopped
    1/4 c. onion, chopped
    dash of dill weed
    1 tsp. butter or margarine
Preparation
    Melt butter in medium saucepan.
    Add onion and mushrooms. Cook until onion is clear.
    Add rice, chicken broth and dill weed. Bring to a boil.
    Turn heat to simmer. Cover and cook for 10 minutes.
    Add asparagus.
    Simmer until most liquid is absorbed. Serves 4
