Pistachio Salad(Watergate Salad) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (16 oz.) can crushed pineapple in its own juice
    1 large can mandarin oranges
    1 pt. container cottage cheese
    green food coloring *
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
    2 pkg. pistachio pudding
    2 c. mini marshmallows
    1 large container Cool Whip
Preparation
    Mix together pudding and pineapple (undrained).
    Add food coloring until a medium green.
    Add cottage cheese and nuts. Gently fold in mandarin oranges.
    Fold in marshmallows and Cool Whip.
    Chill for 1 hour.
    Sprinkle with red and green decorating sugar and serve.
    Makes approximately 6 to 8 servings.
