Lemon Glazed Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. soft butter
    1 1/4 c. sugar, divided
    2 eggs
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. milk
    1 Tbsp. grated lemon rind
    1/2 to 3/4 c. nuts, chopped
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Blend well butter and 1 cup sugar.
    Beat in eggs and vanilla, then add dry ingredients with milk, lemon rind and nuts.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 70 minutes.
    While bread bakes, in small bowl, stir 1/4 cup sugar and juice of 1 lemon.
    Pour this on hot bread.
    Cool well before slicing.
    Better second day.
