Coconut Cream Pie (Makes 2 Pies) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. milk
    2 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 Tbsp. flour
    4 eggs, separate whites from yolks
    1/2 stick butter or margarine
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients and cook in double boiler until thick. Beat egg whites well and pour into batter after it is done.
    Beat with mixer.
    Put coconut in batter; add vanilla and a little salt.
    Toast a little coconut in oven.
    Let cool.
    Put Cool Whip on top of pies and sprinkle toasted coconut on top of Cool Whip.
