Beef In Sherry - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. stewing beef
    2 cans cream of mushroom soup
    1 (8 oz.) can mushroom or 1 lb. sliced fresh mushrooms
    1 c. sherry
    1 pkg. onion soup mix
Preparation
    Cut up beef into 1-inch cubes and brown.
    Put in large casserole dish.
    Add soup, mushrooms and sherry.
    Mix; cover and bake approximately 3 hours at 325\u00b0 or 4 hours at 300\u00b0.
    Serve over rice.
