Jambalaya - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. finely chopped onion
1 tsp. garlic
6 Tbsp. Crisco
1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
6 Tbsp. tomato paste
1/2 c. finely chopped parsley
1/4 c. finely chopped green pepper
1 Tbsp. parsley
3 whole cloves
1/2 tsp. thyme
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
1 lb. frozen shrimp
1/2 lb. crab meat
1 c. chicken cubes
1 c. chicken broth
1 c. cooked rice
Preparation

Saute onion and garlic powder in Crisco until onion is clear. Add tomatoes and tomato paste.
Stir to chop tomatoes.
Add next 7 ingredients.
Cook for 5 minutes.
Add shrimp, crab meat and chicken; pour in chicken broth.
Cook until heated.
Serve over hot rice.
