Hot Cheesy Beef Dip - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. chopped pecans
    1 1/2 Tbsp. melted butter or margarine
    1 (2. 5 oz.) pkg. dried beef
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
    2 Tbsp. milk
    1/4 c. finely chopped green pepper
    1/4 c. finely chopped green onion
    1/2 tsp. garlic salt or 1 clove garlic, pressed
    1/2 tsp. white pepper
    1/2 c. sour cream
Preparation
    Saute pecans in butter 3 to 5 minutes.
    Drain on paper towels; set aside.
    Chop dried beef finely.
    Combine cream cheese and milk; beat on medium speed of electric mixer until smooth.
    Stir in beef, green pepper, onion, garlic and white pepper; mix well. Stir in sour cream; spoon into a greased 1-quart casserole dish. Sprinkle pecans on top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
    Serve dip hot with assorted crackers.
    Yields about 2 cups.
