Christmas Quiche - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 hash brown patties, defrosted until limp
1/2 lb. bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 1/2 c. cheese, grated (Swiss, Cheddar or Jack)
3 eggs, beaten
1 1/2 c. milk
Preparation

Preheat oven to broil.
Grease 9-inch pie plate.
Press hash browns to cover bottom and sides of plate.
Salt and pepper lightly.
Crisp under broiler 7 to 9 minutes.
Crumble bacon over hash browns.
Add 2 tablespoons diced onion if you wish.
Spread cheese over bacon.
Add milk to beaten eggs.
Mix well and pour over cheese.
Bake in 400\u00b0 oven for 15 minutes, then turn oven down to 325\u00b0 for 20 more minutes.
