2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. baking cocoa
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. shortening
4 c. flour
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. sour milk
1 c. hot water

Preparation

To make sour milk, put 1 tablespoon of white vinegar in a measuring cup; fill up to the 1 cup line with milk.
