Homemade Rice Pilaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. Uncle Ben's converted rice
    1/2 stick butter
    2 chicken bouillon cubes
    3 1/2 c. hot water
    salt and pepper to taste
    handful of vermicelli, crushed up
Preparation
    In 2-quart saucepan, saute noodles in butter until golden. Add remaining ingredients.
    Stir and cover.
    Let cook on high until boiling.
    Boil for 5 minutes, then reduce heat to a simmer. Simmer for about 20 to 25 minutes, until all water is absorbed. Allow to sit for at least 15 minutes before serving.
