Monterey Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 chicken breasts, boneless
    1 stick butter
    1 c. chopped mushrooms
    1/2 c. chopped scallions (green onions)
    1/2 c. white wine
    1 c. chicken broth
    1 tsp. each: garlic, salt, pepper, chili powder and lemon pepper
    1/2 c. flour (to coat chicken)
    1 c. Monterey cheese, shredded
Preparation
    Flour chicken and brown in melted butter 3 to 5 minutes on each side.
    Remove from pan and place in 9 x 13-inch baking dish. In the pan with butter, add mushrooms and onions; saute about 10 minutes.
    Add spices, chicken broth, wine and 1/4 cup cheese. Cook until thickens.
    Pour over chicken and cover with 3/4 cup cheese.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
