Overnight Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. butter
    1/2 lb. oleo
    1 lb. light brown sugar
    6 eggs, separated
    4 c. plain flour
    1 lb. red candied cherries
    1 lb. green candied pineapple
    4 c. pecan pieces
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 1/2 oz. lemon extract
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add egg yolks, then 3 cups flour with baking powder.
    Take 1 cup of flour and mix with nuts and fruit. Add this and extract to rest of batter.
    Fold in beaten egg whites.
    Grease a tube pan.
    Pour in mixture and let set in refrigerator overnight.
    Preheat oven to 250\u00b0.
    Bake 3 1/2 hours.
