Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. yellow squash
    1 large onion, sauteed in butter
    8 oz. Velveeta
    1 egg
    cracker crumbs
    salt and pepper
    butter
Preparation
    Wash and cut up squash.
    Cook squash in salted water until tender.
    Drain and put in dish and chop it with fork a little bit. Add the beaten egg, onion and cheese to squash.
    Put cracker crumbs on top.
    Dot with butter.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour or until golden brown.
