Cinnamon Cream Cheese Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
    1 1/4 tsp. baking powder
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. unsalted butter, softened
    4 oz. cream cheese, softened
    3/4 c. granulated sugar
    1 large egg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
Preparation
    In medium bowl, stir together flour, baking powder and salt. In large bowl, using wooden spoon, cream together butter, cream cheese and sugar until combined.
    Cover and refrigerate 1 to 2 hours until firm enough to shape.
    To prepare topping, stir together sugar and cinnamon in a custard cup.
    Shape dough into 1-inch diameter balls.
    Roll each ball in topping to coat lightly. Place balls on prepared baking sheets, leaving about 2-inches between balls.
    Bake 1 sheet at a time, at 350\u00b0, for 10 to 14 minutes or until bottoms of cookies are very lightly browned. Remove baking sheet to a wire rack and cool for about 3 minutes. Using metal spatula, transfer cookies to rack and cool completely. Repeat until all dough is used.
    When cool, store cookies in an airtight container.
    Makes about 45 cookies.
