Marinated Vegetable Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (No. 303) can wax beans
    1 (No. 303) can lima beans
    1 (No. 303) can whole kernel corn
    1 (No. 303) can kidney beans, rinsed
    1 (No. 303) can green peas
    1 green pepper, chopped
    1 to 2 stalks celery, chopped
    1 onion, chopped
    dash of salt and pepper
    3/4 c. sugar
    3/4 c. vinegar
    1/3 c. salad oil
Preparation
    Drain excess fluid from beans, corn and peas and combine.
    Add onion, pepper and celery. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Combine sugar, vinegar and oil. Stir and pour over vegetables.
    Mix well. Cover and refrigerate for 8 to 10 hours. Serve cold.
