Baked Vegetable Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. small English peas, strained
1 c. celery, cut fine
1 c. bread crumbs
3 Tbsp. flour
2 c. shredded cheese (any kind)
5 Tbsp. melted butter or margarine
1 c. carrots, shredded
1 small onion, cut fine
2 eggs
2 1/2 c. sweet milk
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

Toast bread, then roll into crumbs. Make a sauce with eggs, milk, flour, salt and pepper. Mix vegetables well. Layer ingredients in the following order: vegetables, crumbs, sauce and cheese. Repeat until all is used. Place hot melted butter on top and sprinkle with handful of corn flakes. Bake 20 to 40 minutes in an oven preheated to 375\u00b0. Serve hot. Serves 8 to 10 people.
