Wilson'S Favorite Sweet Potato Pie(Makes One 9-Inch Pie Plus One Smaller) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sweet potatoes, cooked and mashed
    2 Tbsp. butter
    3 egg yolks
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. each: salt, nutmeg, cinnamon and ginger
    1 3/4 c. milk
Preparation
    Mix together thoroughly in order.
    Then fold in 3 stiffly beaten egg whites.
    Pour into uncooked pastry shells.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
    Then lower heat to 350\u00b0.
    Bake until set and lightly browned, about 50 minutes.
