Fresh Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 c. water
    1 small box strawberry gelatin
    1 to 2 pt. stemmed strawberries
    1 (8-inch) baked pie shell
    whipped cream or nondairy whipped topping
Preparation
    I use Keebler's cookie crust pie shell.
    Mix sugar, cornstarch and water in saucepan; cook until thickened, stirring constantly. Remove from heat; stir in gelatin.
    Pour over strawberries; mix well.
    Pour into pie shell; refrigerate until set.
    When ready to serve, spread topping over all.
