Ingredients

4 c. sliced beets or large can
3/4 c. beet juice
1/3 c. vinegar
3/4 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
2 Tbsp. margarine
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

Mix everything together in a large saucepan.
Put on high until it boils, then simmer until thickens.
Stir occasionally.
