Pecan Pie, Not So Sweet, A La June Veneable - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 eggs
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. Karo syrup
1/8 tsp. salt
1/4 c. oleomargarine, melted
1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Beat eggs; add sugar, syrup, salt, vanilla and margarine. Line a 9-inch pie plate with pastry.
Pour mixture over pastry. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
The nuts will rise to the top and form a crusted layer.
