Rhubarb - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. rhubarb
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. strawberries (optional)
    hint of cinnamon (optional)
Preparation
    Cut rhubarb into 3/4-inch pieces (approximately 3 cups).
    Heat oven to 300\u00b0.
    Pour boiling water over rhubarb.
    Let stand 5 minutes.
    Drain water.
    Spoon rhubarb into baking dish.
    Spoon sugar over rhubarb and bake 15 minutes.
    Stir and bake 15 more minutes.
