Fudge Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    4 (1 oz.) unsweetened chocolate
    3 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 2/3 c. evaporated milk
Preparation
    In a double-boiler, melt butter and chocolate very slowly. Add sugar and salt until dissolved.
    Stir in milk, slowly.
    Makes 1 quart.
    Serve warm over cake and ice cream.
