Sauerkraut Balls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 oz. pork sausage, finely crumbled
1/4 c. finely chopped onion
1 (16 oz.) can sauerkraut, well drained and snipped
2 Tbsp. fine bread crumbs
1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
2 Tbsp. snipped parsley
1 tsp. prepared mustard
1/4 tsp. garlic salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/4 c. all-purpose flour
2 eggs
1/4 c. milk
3/4 c. fine bread crumbs
Preparation

Place flour in a bowl.
Beat eggs and milk in another bowl. Place bread crumbs in another bowl.
Roll balls first in flour mixture, then in egg mixture, then in bread crumbs.
Now they are ready for deep frying.
Place meat balls in wire basket for deep frying.
Fry a few at a time, covering bottom of wire basket.
Pour cooking oil in fryer at depth of 2 inches.
Heat to 375\u00b0, then lower the basket containing sauerkraut balls in the hot oil and cook until golden brown; remove to dry on paper towel.
