Chicken Jambalaya - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 fryer
1/2 lb. pork sausage links
1/2 c. water
1 c. chopped onion
1 c. chopped green pepper
1/2 c. chopped celery
1 clove garlic
1 can tomatoes
1 c. rice
3 c. chicken broth
1/2 tsp. chili powder
salt and pepper to taste
1/4 tsp. Tabasco
Preparation

Boil chicken until tender. Remove meat from bones and chop. Brown rice in shortening until golden.
Set aside.
Brown vegetables, chicken, chili powder, Tabasco, tomatoes and chicken broth.
Bake, covered, in 350\u00b0 oven until rice is done and liquid is absorbed.
Add more water if needed.
