Quick-As-A-Mix Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. Brazil nuts
    1 1/2 c. pecans
    1 (7 1/4 oz.) pkg. pitted dates, cut up
    1 c. maraschino cherries, drained and cut in halves
    3/4 c. sifted flour
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Put nuts, dates and cherries in a large mixing bowl.
    Sift flour, sugar, baking powder and salt over nuts and fruit.
    Mix with hands until nuts and fruit are coated with flour mixture. Beat eggs until foamy.
    Add vanilla; stir into nut and fruit mixture.
    Turn into well-greased bread pan.
    Spread and pack down. Bake in a 300\u00b0 oven for 1 to 1 1/2 hours, or until done.
