Creole Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 chicken fryer
    1 (No. 2) can tomatoes
    1 sweet green pepper
    a few pieces of celery
    black pepper
Preparation
    Prepare chicken as for frying.
    Place in skillet with plenty of shortening.
    Fry fast, until a nice brown.
    Drain off all grease.
    Add tomatoes, green pepper and celery.
    Sprinkle with black pepper.
    Cover tightly.
    Let cook about 20 minutes.
    Serve hot.
