Beef Brisket - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 whole (5 to 6 lb.) brisket
    3 cloves garlic
    1 large onion
    garlic salt
    pepper
    paprika
Preparation
    Braise brisket on all sides.
    Add sliced onion and garlic. Cover top with garlic salt, pepper and paprika to taste.
    Cover pan and cook on moderate flame for 1 hour.
    Remove meat from pot, leaving vegetables.
    Slice the meat thin and return to pot.
    Cover and cook on low heat for about 1 hour until done.
    Add small amount of water, if necessary, and turn pieces frequently.
