Peanut Clusters - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. evaporated milk
    28 caramels
    3 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
    3 c. salted peanuts
Preparation
    Have ready a long sheet of wax paper.
    In a large, heavy saucepan, combine the sugar and milk.
    Bring to a boil, then add the caramels.
    Stir to melt.
    When the caramels are melted, boil for 1 minute.
    Remove from the heat and stir in the chocolate chips.
    Stir until melted.
    Stir in the peanuts.
    Drop from a teaspoon onto wax paper and let cool.
