Pralines - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (3 oz.) pkg. vanilla flavor pudding
1 1/2 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
1/2 c. evaporated milk
1 Tbsp. butter
2 c. pecan halves
Preparation

Combine pudding mix, brown sugar, evaporated milk and butter in medium size sauce pan.
Heat slowly, stirring constantly, until sugar dissolves.
Then cook, without stirring, to 238\u00b0.
Remove from heat and stir in pecans.
Beat with wooden spoon 2 to 3 minutes or until mixture thickens.
Drop by spoonfuls 2 inches apart on wax paper.
Let stand until firm.
