Blueberry Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. shortening
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. milk
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. blueberries, rinsed
cinnamon/sugar
Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar together; add egg and continue to beat well.
Add milk and vanilla.
Sift together dry ingredients. Save 1/4 cup of dry ingredients; add the rest to the wet mixture. Coat the blueberries with remaining dry ingredients.
Fold blueberries into batter.
This batter is very thick.
Pour into greased and floured 9 x 9-inch pan.
Sprinkle top with cinnamon-sugar.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 25 to 35 minutes.
