Chicken Celery Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. cooked chicken
4 c. celery, sliced diagonally into 1-inch pieces
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 can celery soup
1 can sliced water chestnuts, drained
1/4 c. chopped onion
1 (4 oz.) jar diced pimiento
2 c. grated cheese
1 c. Ritz cracker crumbs
1/2 c. slivered almonds
2 Tbsp. margarine, melted
Preparation

Combine melted margarine and cracker crumbs, set aside.
Cook celery in small amount of water until crisp-tender.
Saute onion in small amount of margarine until tender.
Combine soups, water chestnuts, pimiento and cheese.
Mix well.
Stir in celery, onion and chicken.
Pour into lightly greased baking dish.
Top with cracker crumbs, then almonds.
Bake at 350\u00b0 until brown and bubbly.
