Pineapple Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (15 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained very, very dry
    1/4 lb. butter
    1 c. granulated sugar
    4 eggs
    5 slices bread, cubed
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar well.
    Add eggs and beat each thoroughly.
    Add the drained pineapple, then fold in bread cubes. Bake in 1 1/2-quart (greased) casserole for 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
    Can be served with lemon sauce as dessert.
    Excellent with ham.
