1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. flour
3 c. milk
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
4 Tbsp. butter
3 or 4 ripe bananas, mashed
1 bag vanilla wafers
1/4 to 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Mix sugar and flour together; then slowly add milk. Add egg yolks, reserving the egg whites for meringue. Cook over medium-high heat until thick. Add 1 teaspoon vanilla, butter and bananas. Pour pudding mixture over vanilla wafers.
