Beet Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. sugar to 1 c. vinegar
pickling spices
1/2 tsp. salt to pt.
fresh red beets

Preparation

Cook and peel beets and pack in hot jars.
Cover with syrup. Seal.
