Gingersnaps - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. shortening
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 egg
    1/4 c. molasses
    2 1/4 c. flour
    2 tsp. soda
    1/4 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients together.
    Chill dough.
    Roll into balls. Dip in sugar.
    Bake on cookie sheet 3 inches apart.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
    Makes 4 dozen.
