Peach Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. all-purpose flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    3/4 c. milk
    4 or 5 large fresh peaches
    1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Melt butter in baking dish.
    Mix flour, baking powder, 1 cup sugar and milk; pour into the baking dish.
    Peel and slice peaches; arrange over batter.
    Sprinkle remaining 1/2 cup sugar over peaches.
    Pour water over peaches.
    Bake in preheated 350\u00b0 oven for 50 minutes.
